Are you a qualified and enthusiastic EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in a supportive early years setting? We are currently supporting a friendly and well-established nursery in Sidmouth, Devon, to recruit a dedicated Early Years professional for a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start available.

The Role
As an EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will support the delivery of high-quality early years education, helping children to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Working collaboratively with the nursery team, you will create engaging experiences that support every child's individual development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Plan and support engaging play-based learning activities
- Observe, monitor, and record children's development and achievements
- Promote children's emotional, social, and physical wellbeing
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Support children with varying learning and developmental needs
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child welfare at all times
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent recognised childcare qualification)
- Previous experience working within a nursery or EYFS setting
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Passion for supporting young children's learning and development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
