EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant Job in Sidmouth

Are you a qualified and enthusiastic EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in a supportive early years setting? We are currently supporting a friendly and well-established nursery in Sidmouth, Devon, to recruit a dedicated Early Years professional for a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start available.

The Role
As an EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will support the delivery of high-quality early years education, helping children to develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Working collaboratively with the nursery team, you will create engaging experiences that support every child's individual development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Plan and support engaging play-based learning activities
  • Observe, monitor, and record children's development and achievements
  • Promote children's emotional, social, and physical wellbeing
  • Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
  • Support children with varying learning and developmental needs
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child welfare at all times

Requirements
  • Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or equivalent recognised childcare qualification)
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or EYFS setting
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Passion for supporting young children's learning and development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
