A leading investment management firm based in London that is responsible for safeguarding and growing assets on behalf of hundreds of thousands of members across multiple industries. Your new role
The client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated expense analyst to join their finance team for 14 months. Key responsibilities include:
- Participate in all business-as-usual (BAU) expense accounting processes for pooled funds.
- Manage inputs into the sub-ledger and general ledger.
- Process weekly payment runs, including CHAPS transfers and associated journals.
- Handle month-end journals, including prepayments and accruals.
- Set up and manage suppliers in line with procurement policy.
- Create and maintain general ledger accounts and budget approver linkages.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance and F&IA.
- Produce monthly management information (MI) for senior leadership.
- Support internal and external audit requests and ad hoc investigations.
- Contribute to wider team initiatives and BAU support as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
- AAT qualified (or equivalent)
- 2 years+ experience in a similar role within financial services
- Strong communicator and team player
- Background in process improvements with demonstrable results
