Your new role

Initially a 3-6 month contract, but with the potential to extend. As Expeditor you will support the buying and manufacturing teams by liaising closely with suppliers to ensure that orders will be delivered on time and in full. You will be on the phone for the majority of the time, talking to suppliers to check they have received and can complete all orders, chasing any late deliveries, and updating internal MRP system (SAP) with dates to ensure the business has a clear and true picture at all times.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience in a similar role within a manufacturing business (eg Expeditor, Materials Controller / Supply Planner / Inventory Planner / Buyer), and will enjoy being proactive in chasing updates from Suppliers, building good relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and be able to effectively prioritise your own workload.

Competitive hourly rate (to £20 per hour which is circa £38k salary equivalent)
