Your new role

The school is seeking an experienced and organised Examination Officer to join the team from September.
In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for:
  • Preparing and distributing comprehensive exam timetables
  • Recruiting, training, and managing exam invigilators and support staff
  • Ensuring all controlled assessment marks and predicted grades are accurately recorded and communicated
  • Coordinating the smooth delivery of both internal and external examinations
  • Attending relevant training sessions to support ongoing professional development
  • Acting as a key point of contact, liaising effectively with exam boards, students, and parents

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:

  • A solid understanding of exam regulations and processes
  • Strong IT skills and confidence using school systems
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure while managing tight deadlines
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Clear and effective communication skills
Please note, a successful appointment will be subject to satisfactory references covering the past two years. An Enhanced DBS check is also required (or you must be registered on the DBS Update Service).
