Your new company
You will be joining a well-established professional membership body that supports the delivery of specialist examinations across the UK. The organisation works with external stakeholders to ensure examinations are delivered professionally, accurately and in line with established procedures. This is a busy, service-led environment where high-quality administration, clear communication and attention to detail are essential to supporting successful examination delivery.
Your new role
- Processing examination applications and supporting documentation.
- Maintaining accurate candidate and examiner records and databases.
- Logging and managing incoming correspondence and departmental mail.
- Responding to enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Providing administrative and clerical support to the wider examinations team.
- Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and reports, taking minutes and tracking actions
- Ordering and maintaining office and team supplies.
- Liaising with a wide range of internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure efficient examination delivery.
- Assisting with additional administrative projects and duties as required by the team.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this highly visible role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other common IT systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience delivering excellent customer service and communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to work independently, use initiative and contribute effectively as part of a team.
