We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Events Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile national trade show in London. This is a part-time contract role (2 days per week), with flexibility around event dates and full attendance required during the 3-day event.
About the Event
- Type: National trade show
 - Duration: 3 days
 - Location: London
 - Footfall: Approx. 2,500 attendees per day
 - Budget: Circa £150,000
 
Key Responsibilities
- Full end-to-end project management of the event
 - Coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners
 - Budget ownership and reporting
 - Oversight of logistics, branding, stand design, delegate experience, and post-event wrap-up
 - On-site presence for the full duration of the event
 - Ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
 
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing trade show events of similar scale
 - Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
 - Hands-on, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently
 - Comfortable working in a hybrid setup with flexibility around event needs
 - No requirement for optical industry experience
