Events & Conference Administrator
35 hours, 5 Days a Week.
Hybrid.
Temporary – Immediate Start – up to 12 weeks
£14.53 hour plus holiday pay
Supporting a busy university team, you will be dealing with incoming communications (mail, electronic mail and telephone enquiries) with diplomacy, tact and discretion; drafting responses and taking other appropriate follow-up action as required.
This role requires someone who is experienced in dealing with numerous external and internal stakeholders, able to coordinate events, people and locations and ensuring that all administrative duties are administered effectively.

Experience of working with professional or educational sponsorship / membership organisations would be greatly beneficial.
You will be an excellent communicator and able to communicate at all levels. This is a diverse and busy role which would suit a candidate who is flexible, able to hit the ground running and equally, someone who will pitch in when required during peak times to support team members.

Excellent IT skills are required as you will be providing slick administrative support across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an experienced administrator that has previously worked within the university sector. This is a very varied administrative role therefore you will be required to be both flexible and adaptable.
The role is temporary and the working hours are 35 per week. The role involves ordering catering and beverages for events some of which will be alcohol.
Previous administration experience within the university / membership sector and experience of working with external stakeholders is essential, along with a professional manner.
Excellent communication skills and a polite and friendly approach are also essential.
