Events Support Co-ordinator - Burgess Hill

Your new company

A global leader in biotechnology and diagnostics for medicines and diagnostics tools is looking for a temporary Events Support Co-ordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to get into the event's industry, someone who has recently graduated or a strong administrator looking for a new role.

Your new role

Supporting the events team with internal and external events by co-ordinating and managing event registrations, booking accommodation and travel and working on small and large budgets. As well as this, you will be assisting with on-site event management, including setting up, dismantling, attendee co-ordination and assisting with any issues that may arise. You will be raising POs and managing payments, supporting with event risk assessments and co-ordinating with vendors and suppliers.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have excellent written, verbal communication, organisation and prioritisation skills. Happy working within a team and independently and have strong administrative skills or event experience. Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite) and confident liaising with internal and external stakeholders.


What you'll get in return

This is a temporary role until the end of March 2026, paying between £12.82 - £15.38 per hour PAYE. You will work Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, with 2 days working in the office (you may be required to go to the office / venues more when an event is upcoming), there is also parking onsite.
