Well established Fitout Subcontractor requires Estimator to join their team based in Glasgow.

Estimator – Fit-Out (Glasgow)

Your new company A well-established and highly reputable fit-out subcontractor based in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. With an excellent standing in the Scottish construction market, the business has built a strong portfolio of repeat clients and a reputation for quality delivery. The company prides itself on its collaborative culture and impressive staff retention, reflecting a supportive and stable working environment.

Your new role Reporting directly to Senior Management, you will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business. This is a highly visible position where your input will directly influence project success and strategic direction.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for fit-out projects
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
  • Managing the full tender process from enquiry through to submission
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Identifying value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
  • Supporting the senior leadership team in securing new business
What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven estimating experience within the fit-out sector
  • Strong knowledge of the Scottish construction market
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
