Estimator
Your new company
You’ll be joining a modern, fast‑growing construction business specialising in commercial and retail refurbishment, fit‑out and enabling works. The company is known for transforming outdated spaces into high‑quality, functional environments and prides itself on craftsmanship, organisation and a supportive, professional culture. With a carefully selected team of experienced construction specialists, you’ll be part of a driven and approachable organisation that values high standards and continuous development.
Your new role
As an Estimator, you’ll prepare accurate estimates, tenders and cost plans across commercial and retail projects, including strip‑out, refurbishment and fit‑out schemes. You’ll measure quantities from drawings, analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations, prepare pricing submissions and liaise with clients and supply chain partners throughout tender stages. The role also includes conducting site visits, identifying value‑engineering opportunities, supporting tender handovers and assisting with cost reviews, variations and budget monitoring.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll bring previous estimating experience within construction, ideally with exposure to commercial, retail, refurbishment or fit‑out sectors. Strong numerical and analytical skills, confidence reading drawings and specifications, and the ability to manage multiple tenders to deadlines are essential. You’ll be proactive, ambitious, a strong communicator and comfortable using Excel and estimating software. A full UK driving licence is required.
What you'll get in return
You’ll benefit from a competitive package, clear progression opportunities and the chance to work on varied commercial and retail projects. You’ll join a supportive team environment with modern office facilities, including on‑site amenities such as a gym and golf simulator, along with free parking and ongoing training to support your development.
