Estimator - Permanent - Coventry - Industry-Leading Contractor - Heavy Civils
Your new company
Our client, an established and multi-accredited contractor operating within the water industry, is seeking an Estimator to join their team.
This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Coventry office.
Your new role
As Estimator, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates
- Analysing project requirements and specifications for accurate pricing
- Collaborating with the commercial team to develop competitive tender proposals
- Reviewing and assessing the financial aspects of project plans
- Providing insight and recommendations on cost-saving opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies
- Assisting in negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
- Previous experience estimating within heavy civils
- Strong understanding of pricing and tendering processes
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Full UK driving licence.
