ER Partner - 12 Month FTC

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional ER support? We’re looking for a dynamic ER Advisor to join our client's HR team and play a pivotal role in setting up the ER function.

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll be responsible for providing ER service across the business. You’ll work closely with operational leaders to resolve volume and complex cases, supporting line managers in training and absence management.

This role is a 12-month fixed term contract, based from home but with travel to the head office in York and other sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolving complex volume ER cases
  • Complex absence (e.g. capability, ill health)
  • Creates ER frameworks/guidance
  • Monitor cases across locations in an attempt to reduce volume.
  • Run workshops to support managers in dealing with ER queries.
  • Reporting for HRBP.

  • Proven experience in ER or similar role, ideally within a complex operational environment.
  • Experience working with unions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence across all levels of the organisation.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for driving positive change.
