Your new role

Southend City Council are looking to appoint an equipment and adaptations Service Store person for a full-time temporary role.

The main purpose of the role is to provide prompt and efficient delivery, monitoring, servicing, and collection of items of equipment and minor adaptations.
Accurately account for stock received, issued, stored and returned.
Clean, inspect, service/maintain previously issued items.
Ensure correct administration and legislative policies and procedures and systems fully meet the council requirements.
Receive, unpack, count and label products delivered to the unit.

What you'll need to succeed

To be shortlisted for this position, you must have a driving licence.

It is essential that you have previous experience of customer service and have dealt with stock/warehouse inventory.

It would be beneficial to have knowledge and experience of issues relating to disability, technology and/or equipment to assist people with disabilities, along with experience of health and social care.
