A London Borough is seeking an experienced Environmental Enforcement Team Leader to join their team.

Are you an experienced leader with a strong background in environmental enforcement? We are seeking a proactive and highly motivated Environmental Enforcement Team Leader to oversee a dynamic team responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and delivering high-quality enforcement services.
Your new role
Lead and manage a team of Environmental Enforcement Officers.
Oversee investigations into environmental offences, including waste management, fly-tipping, and related issues.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council policies.
Prepare reports, evidence packs, and attend court proceedings where necessary.
Drive performance and maintain high standards of service delivery.
Engage with stakeholders and the public to promote environmental awareness.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in environmental enforcement or regulatory services.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent knowledge of environmental legislation and enforcement procedures.
Ability to handle complex cases and make sound decisions.
Effective communication and report-writing skills.
