English Teacher – Fantastic Huddersfield School (September–December Contract)

The Opportunity

Hays Education is proud to be supporting a fantastic secondary school in Huddersfield in their search for a talented English Teacher to join them from September to December. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact in a thriving, well‑resourced school with a supportive leadership team.

The Role

Teach KS3 and KS4 English to a high standard
Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that inspire progress
Contribute to the wider English department and whole‑school ethos
Take responsibility for planning, marking, and assessment
Uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement

What We’re Looking For

A UK‑qualified English Teacher (QTS or SMCTLS essential)
At least 3 years’ experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
A positive, professional attitude and commitment to student success
Someone reliable, adaptable, and ready to hit the ground running
