Location: Huddersfield

The Opportunity
Are you an English teacher looking for a long‑term placement either immediately or after the Easter break? I’m currently working with several secondary schools across Huddersfield who are seeking committed, confident, and enthusiastic English specialists to join their teams on a long‑term basis.
These roles offer stability, supportive departments, and the chance to make a real impact on KS3 and KS4 learners.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Teaching English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons
- Supporting pupils of varying abilities to achieve their potential
- Contributing to department planning, assessment, and wider school life
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
✔️ What We’re Looking For
- UK‑qualified English teacher (QTS or QTLS essential)
- Recent experience teaching KS3 & KS4 English (within the last 2 years)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
- Ability to commit to a long‑term role
- A proactive, reliable, and professional approach
