About the Role
I am working on behalf of a secondary school, I am seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join our thriving secondary school in Stourbridge. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, and to contribute to the continued success of a high-achieving English department.

The successful candidate will:
•Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the English curriculum
•Inspire students to develop a love of literature and language
•Set high expectations for achievement, progress, and behaviour
•Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
•Support students in achieving excellent outcomes at GCSE and A-level

Person Specification
Essential:
•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
•Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
•Ability to teach across KS3–KS5
•Commitment to raising attainment and supporting all learners
•Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Desirable:
•Experience of teaching A-level English
•A track record of achieving strong student outcomes
