Your new role :

Starting in September, you’ll take on a supply teaching role within the English department, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, and communication skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5, depending on experience).
  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons and adapting content to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a calm, inclusive learning environment.
  • Encouraging students through a friendly, engaging, and supportive teaching style.
  • Promoting a love of literature, language, and creative expression.

What you'll need to succeed:
