Full-Time English Teacher – Key Stage 3 & GCSE
Location: East Sussex Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Long-term, ongoing
Are you a dedicated English teacher seeking a rewarding new role in the New Year? We are working with a well-established community college in East Sussex that is looking for a passionate and committed teacher of English to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and GCSE, while enjoying the stability of a long-term, ongoing position.
The Role
Deliver engaging and creative English lessons to students in KS3 and GCSE.
Plan, prepare, and assess work to ensure excellent progress and attainment.
Inspire students to develop a love of literature and language.
Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high standards of teaching and learning.
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and Language.
Experience teaching at KS3 and GCSE level.
A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
