English Teacher (KS3–KS4)

Location: Birmingham Contract: Temporary,
Full-time Start Date: January 2026

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Birmingham. This temporary role involves teaching students up to Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons, and supporting progress across the curriculum.

✨ Key Responsibilities

Teach English across KS3 and KS4.
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons.
Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback.
Contribute to schemes of work and departmental planning.
Support literacy initiatives and enrichment activities.
Participate in meetings, training, and wider school life.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and Language.
Experience teaching up to KS4.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a temporary role.
