English Teacher (KS3–KS4)
Location: Birmingham Contract: Temporary,
Full-time Start Date: January 2026

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Birmingham. This temporary role involves teaching students up to Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons, and supporting progress across the curriculum.

✨ Key Responsibilities
  • Teach English across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons.
  • Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to schemes of work and departmental planning.
  • Support literacy initiatives and enrichment activities.
  • Participate in meetings, training, and wider school life.
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and Language.
  • Experience teaching up to KS4.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a temporary role.
