This is an exciting opportunity to join a school committed to delivering high-quality education and inspiring students to achieve their full potential. Conveniently located in Blackpool town centre, the school benefits from excellent public transport links, making it easily accessible from surrounding areas including Preston, Fylde, Fleetwood and Lancaster.
The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspire a passion for literature and language
- Monitor and assess student progress effectively
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and department
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A commitment to raising attainment and supporting student success
