The Role
We are seeking a passionate and versatile English Teacher who can also deliver History and Religious Education (RE). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated and welcoming team, where you’ll play a key role in inspiring students across multiple humanities subjects.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in English, History, and RE.
•Plan and prepare schemes of work that meet curriculum standards.
•Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
•Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
•Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support cross-curricular learning.
•Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic achievement.

Requirements

•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
•A degree in English or a related subject.
•Experience teaching English, History, and ideally RE at secondary level.
•Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for humanities.
•Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
•A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
