We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our community and take on the position of English Teacher on a full time, permanent basis.

Our pupils are fantastic and we are looking for someone equally fantastic who can help to further raise standards of pupil achievement, ensuring effective learning in all classes taught and to implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for our pupils.

The appointed candidate will work with children (aged 7 to 18) with key responsibilities to include designing and delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programmes and the delivery of associated assessment, administration and support for learning. You will also manage and develop a given class through the delivery of a key stage appropriate curriculum and ensure high levels of engagement with staff, pupils, parents and the wider learning communities. QTS is an essential requirement for this role.

Finding the right person for this position is key for us and our pupils. The successful candidate will have:


• QTS (Essential)
• Evidence of successful and innovative teaching across a range of key stages (Essential)
• A passion for English with the knowledge and skills to inspire pupils (Essential)
• Experience working with pupils with SEN and awareness of how to adapt learning to meet the needs of the child (Essential)
• Evidence of effective delivery in primary education (Desirable)
• Evidence of contribution to whole school development, especially PSHE and careers (Desirable)
