Your new role
As the EC&I Engineering Manager, you will oversee and manage the design, development, and implementation of control, electrical, and instrumentation systems for various projects. You will ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant standards, regulations, and project requirements.
- Lead and manage the EC&I engineering team.
- Oversee the design and implementation of control, power, and instrumentation systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Conduct technical reviews and assessments.
- Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support.
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of engineering tasks.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain engineering standards and best practices.
- Prepare and present technical reports.
- Participate in project planning, risk management, and change control.
- Foster effective communication within the team and across projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- Chartered Engineer status.
- Degree in Electrical, Control Systems, or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Extensive EC&I engineering experience, preferably in the nuclear/defence sector.
- Proven team management and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of power, control, and instrumentation systems.
- Excellent understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
