Engineer - Gatwick Airport

Your new company

We’re recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join our team at Gatwick Airport, working on essential maintenance and small installation projects across the site. This is a great opportunity for someone who is working towards their electrical qualifications and is looking to gain hands-on engineering experience within a busy, high-profile environment.


Your new role

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and general maintenance tasks
  • Assist with small electrical installations
  • Work safely with LED lighting systems and components
  • Respond to maintenance requests and support the wider engineering team
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with airport safety procedures


What you'll need to succeed

  • ECS Card – Essential
  • Working towards electrical qualifications (advantageous but not mandatory to be fully qualified)
  • Previous maintenance or engineering experience desirable
  • Ability to work independently on night shifts
  • Must successfully pass airport security clearance

What you'll get in return

This role is pay £23 per hour PAYE. The hours are Monday to Friday 7pm-3am. There is parking onsite, and this is initially a 6-month contract with the potential of extension.
