Are you a seasoned contract manager with a passion for sustainability and energy innovation? We're working with a forward-thinking housing provider in Kent who is on a mission to achieve EPC C by 2030 and Net Zero Carbon by 2050—and they need a strategic leader to drive this transformation.

Your new role

As Energy Efficiency Contract Manager, you’ll lead the design, procurement, and delivery of energy improvement projects across a diverse housing portfolio. From managing contractors and consultants to securing vital grant funding, you’ll be at the heart of a major decarbonisation effort—ensuring residents benefit from warmer, greener homes without increased energy costs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end contract management of energy efficiency projects
  • Drive delivery of EPC upgrades and Net Zero Carbon initiatives
  • Monitor energy performance and regulatory compliance
  • Engage residents and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
  • Lead funding bids (e.g., SHDF, ECO, Warm Homes Fund)
  • Represent the organisation at industry events and forums


What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong knowledge of EPC data, retrofit strategies, and carbon reduction
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Degree or equivalent in Building/Construction or Project Management
  • Domestic Energy Assessor or Retrofit Coordinator qualifications (desirable)
  • Proven experience in contract management within energy improvement or housing
