As Employee Relations Specialist, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and stakeholders, providing expert guidance on a wide range of employee relations cases. You will manage cases from inception through to resolution, ensuring fair, consistent and commercially focused outcomes.

The role will involve partnering with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to support organisational change initiatives, coach managers on people matters and contribute to the continuous improvement of ER processes, policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and advise on restructuring, organisational change, redundancy and consultation processes.
  • Lead and facilitate investigations, hearings and appeals where required.
  • Partner with HR colleagues and senior stakeholders to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Identify ER trends and provide recommendations to mitigate risk and improve employee experience.
  • Develop and deliver coaching and training for managers on employee relations matters.
  • Ensure all casework is appropriately documented and managed in line with GDPR and company requirements.
  • Support wider HR projects and initiatives as required during the contract period.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Proven experience in a dedicated Employee Relations Specialist, Employee Relations Manager or Senior HR Advisor position.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and current HR best practice.
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex employee relations cases independently.
  • Experience supporting organisational change, restructures and consultation processes.
  • Ability to influence and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, investigation and report-writing skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience is desirable.
  • Experience within Financial Services, Professional Services or another highly regulated environment would be advantageous.
What You'll Get in Return
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • Opportunity to join a respected and successful organisation during an exciting period of change.
  • Exposure to a broad and varied employee relations remit.
  • Collaborative and supportive HR team environment.
  • Immediate start available.
