Emergency Light Tester

Your new role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Emergency Light Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing emergency lighting systems to ensure they are fully operational and compliant with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine testing of emergency lighting systems in commercial and/or residential properties
  • Record and report test results accurately
  • Identify faults or failures and report these to the relevant team
  • Ensure all work complies with current health and safety standards
  • Maintain testing equipment and tools in good condition
  • Work independently or as part of a team across multiple sites

What you'll need to succeed

  • An in-date DBS, enhanced
  • Previous experience in electrical testing, facilities maintenance, or a similar role is desirable.
  • Basic understanding of emergency lighting systems (training can be provided)
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Full UK driving licence (if travel between sites is required)
  • ECS/CSCS card or relevant certification (preferred but not essential)
