My client, a purpose driven not-for-profit in South Oxfordshire, are seeking a creative and organised Email Marketing Manager with proven experience managing email marketing campaigns and audience data.

The role:

  • Develop and oversee the rollout of the email marketing strategy to enhance engagement, lead generation, and customer retention across diverse audience segments
  • Create and deliver strong email campaigns, segmented by target audience driving engagement and lead generation
  • Balance creative and technical aspects of email campaigns, including content creation, design, segmentation, A/B testing, and performance optimisation
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency are maintained across all campaigns. This includes upholding best practices in email deliverability, data management, and compliance
  • Analyse email performance and engagement metrics, producing regular reports to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. Make data-driven recommendations to enhance future campaigns
  • Work to enhance and maintain a positive sender reputation by building quality email lists, improving data segmentation, and adhering to email marketing best practices
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, address blockers, and drive alignment across email initiatives.

The ideal candidate:

  • Confident in planning, creating and managing email marketing campaigns, automation journeys and data capture activities
  • Good technical and HTML for email skills, ideally within Salesforce Account Engagement Cloud (Pardot) or similar email systems
  • Experience of driving engagement and nurturing audiences
  • An eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Team leadership skills including excellent communication and the ability to lead effectively
  • Ability to develop and lead a team to deliver high-quality, impactful email campaigns
  • Strong experience with email marketing platforms & CRM systems (ideally Pardot/Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
  • Proficiency in reporting and analysing email performance metrics
  • Experience in using project management tools (e.g. Trello) to coordinate and plan
  • A deep understanding of segmentation, list hygiene, and maintaining data integrity in email marketing
  • Knowledge of email compliance regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
