Hays are looking for an electrical works manager to join the estates department in Stirling.

Your new company

You will be working for the estates department at one of the most prestigious organisations in Scotland, responsible for over 336 properties across Scotland. The team you will become a part of has over 400 staff based across 27 depots in Scotland.

Your new role

You will be based at Stirling Castle, and duties will include delivery of the planned electrical maintenance and dealing with reactive works across various properties nearby. Day to day, you will manage up to 3 members of staff, made up of 2 electricians and a labourer. You will work alongside other work managers, HSE professionals and commercial staff. This role will also involve signing off electrical testing & inspection while working closely with your team. You will be working alongside members of the public and other support staff, so you will be expected to be well-mannered and well-presented at all times.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be from a qualified electrician's background, with an up-to-date 18th edition electrical regulation certificate. This role will be office-based, therefore an understanding of Excel & Word will be required. Due to the mobile nature of the role, a driving licence is preferred but suitably qualified candidates without a driving licence will be considered.
