We’re looking for a qualified and reliable Electrician to join our public sector client in their maintenance team, delivering high-quality electrical services across a portfolio of social housing properties. This role involves both planned and reactive maintenance, helping ensure safe, comfortable living environments for their residents.
️ Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical repairs, installations, and upgrades in social housing units
- Respond to urgent maintenance requests with professionalism and efficiency
- Conduct periodic inspections and testing in line with regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
Qualifications & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Experience working in domestic settings, ideally within social housing or public sector environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
