Your new company
We are currently working on behalf of a well‑established housing maintenance provider seeking a qualified and motivated Electrician to join their responsive maintenance team. This role involves delivering high‑quality electrical repairs and installations across social housing properties in the Leeds area.
Your new role
You’ll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical work ensuring all tasks meet current regulations and safety standards.Key responsibilities include:
- Electrical repairs, fault-finding, and installations
- Ensuring compliance with all electrical and health & safety regulations
- Electrical Installations
- Electrical testing
To install, repair, maintain, test and certify electrical systems to a high quality and within current electrical standards and regulations.
The role is 39 hours a week Monday to Friday.
The rate is £24 PAYE - £27 UMB (this can be discussed)
There are two roles one based in Leeds and one based in Sheffield.
What you'll need to succeed
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
- Experience within social housing or domestic maintenance (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic DBS (which we can do for you)
