Your new company
You will join a disciplined engineering team responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of a major power facility. The site delivers continuous plant performance and requires skilled electrical professionals who can maintain equipment, solve problems and support ongoing reliability and availability targets.
Your new role
- Performing fault diagnosis and routine maintenance on complex plant and equipment.
- Meeting maintenance targets safely and commercially.
- Planning work through the CMMS.
- Managing and supervising contractors.
- Delivering maintenance procedures in line with quality, health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Providing technical support and practical solutions to operational issues.
- Supporting safe systems of work and contributing to the safe operation of the power plant.
What you'll need to succeed
- Logical problem solving and the ability to take ownership of issues.
- Clear communication with engineers, contractors and wider teams.
- Effective workload planning and time management.
- Ability to work as part of a team and use your own initiative.
- Attention to detail and a safety first mindset.
- Competence with computerised maintenance management systems.
- HNC/ONC or equivalent in a related discipline.
- A recognised craft apprenticeship in a related field.
What you'll get in return
A salary of £50,000 - £55,000 per annum plus call out allowance, overtime and bonus. You will receive an excellent benefits package which includes a generous pension, good holiday allowance, life assurance, medical and dental insurance and much more.
The role is a day based role, working Monday to Friday with options for overtime.
