Freelance Electrical Supervisor Job I Lancaster I Start ASAP I 6+ Months

Your new company

Your New Company are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join their team at HMP Lancaster Farms. This is a critical role on a major extension project within a secure environment, requiring excellent leadership and technical expertise in electrical systems.

Your new role

Supervise and coordinate all electrical works on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
Manage subcontractors and liaise with site management to maintain progress and quality.
Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Ensure adherence to security protocols and site regulations within the prison environment.
Conduct inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.

What you'll need to succeed


SSSTS certification (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
ECS Card (Black or Gold).
Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on large-scale construction projects.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work within a secure environment (previous prison project experience desirable).
