Exciting Job Opportunity – WFH-based Electrical QS

Job Title: Electrical QS
Location: Home-based (covering sites near Glasgow, Scotland & Newcastle area)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Join as an Electrical QS! Are you an experienced Electrical QS looking for a flexible, home-based role? We are seeking a skilled professional to support our growing team of electricians. You’ll ensure the quality and compliance of electrical works, mentor field engineers, and play a key part in maintaining high standards across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and ensure compliance of electrical works and documentation (EICRs, NICEIC forms, etc.)
  • Mentor and support field-based electricians
  • Conduct site visits, toolbox talks, and regular Teams calls
  • Ensure health & safety and statutory requirements are always met
  • Represent Mitie in client meetings and reviews
What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical installation and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of BS 7671, Electricity at Work Regulations, and inspection/testing procedures
  • Experience mentoring and training engineers
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and IT skills
  • Flexible and willing to travel to sites as required
