Your new role

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician in a Monday–Friday days-based position, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site’s production equipment. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and supporting improvement projects across the facility. This is a hands-on, varied role that offers exposure to cutting-edge control systems and automation technologies.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who has completed an electrical maintenance apprenticeship or is looking to build on their early career experience in a supportive and technically challenging environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A time-served electrical apprenticeship or equivalent technical training
  • Strong fault-finding skills and experience with PLC systems (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell)
  • Familiarity with IEE Wiring Regulations and electrical safety standards
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and out-of-hours call-outs
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Commitment to health & safety, food safety, and quality compliance
