Your New Role
Working as an electrical maintenance engineer your key purpose is to oversee and efficiently resolve any engineering issues which may impact productivity schedules. This role involves working to deadlines in a highly pressured, fast-moving manufacturing environment.
Whilst working your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Adhering to company safety policies and procedures at all times • Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct faults in all machinery, services and plant within Facility • Diagnose and resolve machine and facility breakdowns and issues quickly and efficiently • Complete and support planned maintenance as required on all plant and machinery • Cost-effectively source replacement and service parts • Identify and Complete Continuous improvement activities in all areas of Facility.
Complete and update required maintenance records • Maintain target 5s standards for your work area and identify and implement improvements • Train operators on SOPs and new equipment • Carry out all planned, preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance plan • Perform other job-related duties.
What You'll Need To Succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:
EssentialTime-served/ fully qualified Engineer with relevant industrial experience • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, with a proven track record and experience in all
aspects of Machinery and Facilities Maintenance
Desirable
NVQ level 3 Qualification or equivalent • CPC qualified • Minimum 5 years experience in similar role within the Manufacturing/Engineering industry.
What You'll Get In Return
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of ~£17.50 p/h on a desirable days only working pattern with no weekends. Standard hours of work are Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30 and Friday 06:00 - 12:00.
