Your New Role
Working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician, your key role is to keep the production lines running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with modern equipment and a supportive team.
Whilst on shift your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Perform electrical maintenance, servicing, and repairs on food production machinery and equipment • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly to minimise downtime • Support 24-hour operations with flexibility and reliability • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
What You'll Need To Succeed
In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:
EssentialRecognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) • Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial setting • Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Good communication skills and flexibility for night shifts.
Desirable
Experience in food production or FMCG • Knowledge of PLC systems, automation, and mechanical maintenance • Understanding of industrial health & safety standards.
What You'll Get In Return
This role offers a condensed working week over just 3 shifts, Sunday - Tuesday 18:00 - 06:00.
