Your new role

• Review and interpret tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and schedules, to develop accurate tender bids.
• Prepare and deliver competitive tender submissions within required timeframes.
• Engage with the supply chain to source competitive and compliant quotations.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and incorporate them into bids.
• Participate in mid-and post-tender meetings as needed.
• Collaborate closely with the project delivery team to ensure smooth handovers to preconstruction and contracts managers.

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 2 years of experience in electrical estimating or a related role.
• Solid knowledge of electrical systems and installation practices, ideally supported by an apprenticeship or HNC/HND qualification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with Trimble estimating software is a plus.
• Strong commercial acumen and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
