They are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the Commercial Property Maintenance team based in London.


Your new role

  • Maintenance & Fault Resolution: Perform daily servicing of electrical infrastructure, conduct breakdown repairs on M&E systems, and carry out fault finding, plant adjustments, inspections, and contract‑compliant maintenance tasks.
  • Planned & Reactive Work: Deliver PPMs, planned maintenance, reactive tasks, and extra works within SLAs and engineering standards, in line with HASAWA and company procedures.
  • Safety & Compliance: Work in accordance with Safe Systems of Work, support subcontractor inductions, ensure safe working practices, and comply with Health & Safety policies and IFE requirements.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Complete daily worksheets, maintenance records, inspection documentation, and technical incident reports when required.
  • Support & Flexibility: Assist or deputise for the Working Supervisor, undertake additional tasks as directed, and participate in the on‑call rotation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Technical Qualifications & Knowledge: NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), BMS experience, and understanding of statutory compliance for HVAC and Water Treatment.
  • Health & Safety Awareness: IOSH Working Safely (or similar) and strong understanding of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Communication & Customer Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities with proven customer‑facing experience.
  • Workstyle & Problem‑Solving: Able to work independently or in a team, with strong time‑management and logical problem‑solving abilities.
  • Professional Attributes: Adaptable and able to apply compliance knowledge effectively across key responsibility areas.
