Your new role
- Maintenance & Fault Resolution: Perform daily servicing of electrical infrastructure, conduct breakdown repairs on M&E systems, and carry out fault finding, plant adjustments, inspections, and contract‑compliant maintenance tasks.
- Planned & Reactive Work: Deliver PPMs, planned maintenance, reactive tasks, and extra works within SLAs and engineering standards, in line with HASAWA and company procedures.
- Safety & Compliance: Work in accordance with Safe Systems of Work, support subcontractor inductions, ensure safe working practices, and comply with Health & Safety policies and IFE requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Complete daily worksheets, maintenance records, inspection documentation, and technical incident reports when required.
- Support & Flexibility: Assist or deputise for the Working Supervisor, undertake additional tasks as directed, and participate in the on‑call rotation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Technical Qualifications & Knowledge: NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), BMS experience, and understanding of statutory compliance for HVAC and Water Treatment.
- Health & Safety Awareness: IOSH Working Safely (or similar) and strong understanding of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
- Communication & Customer Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities with proven customer‑facing experience.
- Workstyle & Problem‑Solving: Able to work independently or in a team, with strong time‑management and logical problem‑solving abilities.
- Professional Attributes: Adaptable and able to apply compliance knowledge effectively across key responsibility areas.
