Junior to Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer : Nottingham (Office unto 1 once a week)

Your new company

You will be joining a well‑established, national construction consultancy, founded in the early 1960s, with a strong reputation across Project Management, Cost Consultancy, MEP Engineering and Sustainability.
The business prides itself on hands‑on Director involvement on every project, creating clear accountability, strong client relationships and consistently high standards. This has resulted in an exceptionally high repeat business rate of around 85%.
Following a recent strategic partnership, the consultancy has expanded its service offering to include Project Monitoring and Building Surveying, supporting continued and sustainable growth.
A key differentiator is the working culture: a genuinely flexible, trust‑based model where engineers predominantly work from home, with office attendance typically no more than once per week.

Your new role

As a Junior to Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer, you will support the delivery of electrical building services designs across a varied national project portfolio.
Working closely with Senior Engineers and Directors, you will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle — from early concept design through to detailed design and construction.
