About the Role
An established building services consultancy is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. You’ll be involved in delivering full design solutions across a wide range of sectors, including high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments—some up to 70 storeys.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of experience who’s looking to develop further in a collaborative and technically strong environment. You’ll be working on projects from concept to completion, with the chance to add real value through innovative and cost-effective design.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical building services design from concept through to detailed stages
- Working closely with Mechanical and Public Health teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Producing drawings and specifications using Revit and other design tools
- Supporting project delivery and coordination with clients and contractors
- Contributing to design reviews and value engineering exercises
What They’re Looking For
- 1 year+ experience in electrical building services design
- Strong understanding of UK building regulations and standards
- Revit experience preferred
- Applicants from a contractor or hybrid design/site background are welcome, as well as those from consultancy
- Motivated, adaptable, and keen to grow professionally
- Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
