Electrical Design Engineer - Birmingham: £30,000 to £55,000

Your new company

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established consultancy that has been operating for over 10 years. The company specialises in a range of projects including data centres, retail, and commercial, with project values up to circa £500,000. The organisation comprises approximately 20 consultants, including Revit, mechanical, and electrical engineers.

Your new role

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems across a variety of projects. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative and compliant solutions. While Revit experience is beneficial, proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for this role.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in electrical design engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit skills are advantageous but not essential.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, regulations, and design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
