Your new role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering electrical building services design across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to design development, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with electrical building services design from concept through to detailed stages.
- Produce and review design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with mechanical, sustainability, and structural engineering teams.
- Attend client meetings, conduct site visits, and support project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Contribute to improving processes, design quality, and technical excellence within the department.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in electrical building services engineering within a consultancy environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, wiring regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in relevant design software such as Amtech, Dialux/Relux, and CAD/Revit experience is beneficial.
- Ability to manage your own workload and lead elements of projects independently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
