Commissioning Engineer with electrical expertise and treatment process knowledge

Are you an experienced Commissioning Engineer with a strong Electrical foundation and proven Process knowledge in treatment systems? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and deliver excellence in commissioning across water and wastewater treatment projects. This is a long term day rate assignment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commissioning activities for electrical and process systems within treatment facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with design, installation, and operations teams to optimise plant performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve commissioning issues efficiently.
Essential Skills & Experience

  • Electrical engineering background with hands-on commissioning experience.
  • Process knowledge specifically in treatment processes (not ICA/software).
  • Familiarity with key treatment technologies and terminology, including, ASP / Oxidation Ditch / Activated Sludge, Tertiary Solids Removal (TSR), Sludge Thickening
  • Strong understanding of water/wastewater treatment operations.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and process flow diagrams.
Desirable

  • Experience in multi-disciplinary projects within the water sector.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
