Your new role
As EHS Manager, you will be the site’s subject matter expert, responsible for cultivating a positive EHS culture and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal standards. You will lead the development and implementation of robust systems for hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation, and statutory inspections.

You will lead the development and implementation of robust systems for hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation, and statutory inspections.
Key responsibilities include acting as the Functional Safety Lead across value streams, in collaboration with safety representatives and management, leading communication with local health and safety authorities, driving continuous improvement initiatives, including lean and 6S programmes. Managing case files for incidents and accidents, liaising with legal and insurance bodies. Delivering training and workshops to build a strong EHS network. Ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001 standards.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in a senior EHS role within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of UK EHS legislation and regulatory requirements. Experience leading audits, inspections, and safety improvement programmes. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).What you'll get in return
