Hays Recruitment is partnering with a local council to recruit two Managed Move Coordinators on an interim basis. This role is crucial in ensuring children receive the appropriate educational provision and support they need.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify Children Requiring Alternative Provisions
  • Identify children needing alternative provision under Section 19 of the Education Act 1996 through notifications from schools.
  • Ensure children subject to off-site direction or a managed move are offered appropriate provision.

    2. Collaborate with Schools and Partner Agencies:
  • Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with schools and partner agencies in the locality or as allocated.
  • Help remove local barriers to full-time education and ensure statutory requirements are met.

    3. Work with Alternative Providers:
  • Build strong relationships and work collaboratively with alternative providers in the locality or as allocated.
  • Help remove local barriers to full-time education and ensure statutory requirements are met.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience in education, social work, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
