Support Shopify eCommerce platform through on-site optimisation of customer journey and regular web edits
Your new company
My client are a leading e-commerce business with a focus on health and sustainability. With a genuine passion for providing sustainable products that make a difference to women's health, they are growing rapidly and seeking an eCommerce Specialist to join the team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
As eCommerce Specialist, your job will be to support the eCommerce Manager in the execution of the eCommerce and DTC strategy. This will include contributing to the ongoing optimisation of the online customer journey, increasing conversions, ensuring a consistent brand look & feel, and managing the back-end to streamline the updates process. This looks like A/B testing site edits and running BAU updates, basic UX analysis, ensuring tech stack connections – all for a seamless front-end user experience. You will build and optimise Shopify landing pages, ensure smooth functionality of online stores, use CSS and JavaScript to customise themes and update content beyond template limitations, implement front-end fixes and enhancements, and maintain SEO health via correct alt tagging and internal linking. You will also support in updating and optimising Amazon Marketplace listings.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need prior experience with Shopify, including customising themes, updating content and optimising pages. You will have familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, and ideally some basic knowledge of third-party Shopify apps. You will be familiar with all aspects of eCommerce marketing – CRO, UX, A/B testing, and even creating on-site campaigns for events such as product launches. You'll talk the language of coding, page creation and optimisation. You'll interface with a lot of other teams and colleagues across performance marketing, CRM, brand and product – so good collaboration and people skills are a must!
What you'll get in return
You'll receive a salary between £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience) plus a great benefits package including 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, and additional days off for both your birthday and the Christmas close-down. You'll be eligible for a bonus based on both company and personal performance, as well as the pension scheme and regular salary reviews. You'll work in a business that's truly passionate about its mission and is growing quickly to support that. Their offices are in central Brighton with a minimum of 1 day per week required in the office.
