The Ecommerce Manager will oversee and manage online sales and digital presence. Responsibilities include developing strategies to boost online sales, managing the website, optimising user experience, analysing data and performance metrics, and leading the Ecommerce team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecommerce management and digital marketing, with a passion for driving growth and innovation in the online retail sector.

Your new role

Develop and implement ecommerce strategies to drive sales and revenue.
Oversee daily operations of ecommerce websites and app for optimal user experience.
Optimise SEO and manage PPC campaigns to boost traffic and conversions.
Analyse performance metrics and customer behaviour for growth opportunities.
Collaborate on digital marketing campaigns (email, social media, content).
Manage product listings and ensure accurate, compelling presentations.
Monitor industry trends and competitors to stay competitive.
Lead and develop the ecommerce team.
Manage on-site elements and implement necessary systems and processes.
Oversee app and site development, including re-platforming.
Research new trends and technologies to enhance performance.
Troubleshoot technical issues.
Develop content/marketing calendar and manage website uploads.
Report on performance.

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or a related field.
Proven experience in ecommerce management, with a minimum of [X] years in a similar role.
Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot).
Demonstrated success in driving online sales and achieving revenue targets.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Proficient in SEO, PPC, and other digital marketing strategies.
Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. A proactive, innovative, and results-oriented mindset.
