EC&I Engineer - Work Pack Engineer

Are you an experienced EC&I Engineer with a passion for planning and delivering complex engineering work scopes? We’re recruiting for an
EC&I Work Pack Engineer to support a major infrastructure project in the energy sector.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of a large-scale renewable and energy from waste project, ensuring the efficiency and safety of EC&I installation activities.

Your new role

As an EC&I Work Pack Engineer, you will:
  • Develop EC&I Installation Work Packs (IWPs) from Construction Work Packs (CWPs)
  • Ensure work packs meet technical, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to plan and schedule activities.
  • Coordinate material availability and resource planning
  • Identify and mitigate risks to avoid delays or safety issues
  • Maintain clear communication across departments and stakeholders
  • Attend client meetings and provide progress updates to the Project Manager

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in EC&I engineering, construction, or maintenance
  • At least 2 years in a work-pack creation role
  • HND/C in EC&I discipline or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Navisworks 2024
  • Self-motivated and deadline-driven
